These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern the provision of bed bug heat treatment services (“Services”) by Bed Bug Heat Treatment UK (“Company”), to the customer (“Customer”). By engaging the Company’s Services, the Customer agrees to be bound by these Terms.

  1. Services Provided

1.1 The Company shall provide heat treatment services as agreed upon with the Customer.

1.2 The Services shall be conducted by trained and experienced professionals employed by the Company.

1.3 The Company shall use industry-standard equipment and techniques to perform the Services.

  1. Customer Responsibilities

2.1 The Customer shall ensure access to the premises for the provision of Services.

2.2 The Customer shall disclose any relevant information to the Company regarding the presence of pets, sensitive items, or any other considerations that may affect the provision of Services.

2.3 The Customer shall follow any preparatory instructions provided by the Company prior to the scheduled treatment.

  1. Payment

3.1 The Customer agrees to pay the agreed-upon fees for the Services as specified in the invoice provided by the Company.

3.2 Payment shall be made in full prior to the provision of Services unless otherwise agreed upon in writing by the Company.

3.3 Failure to make payment may result in the suspension, cancellation of Services or adding extra late payment fees.

3.4 Quotes provided over the phone are based on average size rooms and infestation levels. The Company reserves the right to amend the quote upon the inspection of the property as and when appropriate.

  1. Cancellation and Rescheduling

4.1 The Customer may cancel or reschedule the Services by providing 12-hour notice to the Company.

4.2 The Company reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee of £50.00 if notice is not provided within the agreed-upon timeframe.

  1. Warranty

5.1 The Company warrants that the Services shall be performed with reasonable care and skill and offers 8 weeks guarantee on any treatment, unless stated otherwise.

5.2 The above standard service guarantee may be void whenever the client will not have followed all given instructions or followed necessary precautions to prevent reinfestation following the completion of Services.

5.3 The standard service guarantee can only be offered for services paid at full price and cannot be offered in the context of discounted rates, or if only part of the property was treated.

  1. Liability

6.1 The Company shall not be liable for any damage to property or belongings that occur because of the Services, unless caused by negligence or wilful misconduct on the part of the Company.

6.2 The Customer acknowledges that the heat treatment may not eliminate all bed bugs or their eggs, and additional treatments may be necessary.

6.3 The Customer is responsible for taking any necessary precautions to prevent reinfestation following the completion of Services.

6.4 The Company does not accept any responsibility for any alarm triggered during a pest control service. The client must disable all alarms or provide the company with all necessary information for disabling and/or resetting the alarm system on the premises.

  1. Health and Safety

7.1 The Customer shall ensure the safety of all individuals present on the premises during the provision of Services.

7.2 The Customer shall follow any health and safety instructions provided by the Company, including vacating the premises during treatment if necessary.

7.3 Children and pets should also be kept away from surfaces that have been recently sprayed with insecticide. In the event of any suspected poisoning or injury to a person or animal, your Doctor/Hospital/vet should be contacted immediately.

  1. Confidentiality

8.1 The Company shall maintain the confidentiality of any personal information or sensitive details disclosed by the Customer, in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

  1. Amendments

9.1 The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time by providing written notice to the Customer.

9.2 Amendments to these Terms shall be effective upon the date of notification to the Customer.

  1. Late payment fees

10.1 Late payment fees will be applied in the event of a delay in payment beyond the specified due date indicated on the invoice. A fee of £3 per day will be charged for each day the payment is overdue. This fee is intended to incentivize timely payments and to cover administrative costs incurred due to late payments. Customers are encouraged to adhere to the payment terms outlined to avoid incurring additional charges.

  1. Service Engagement Policy

11.1 By ordering the Services, whether verbally, via text messages, or through email correspondence, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by all terms and conditions outlined herein, even in the absence of a signed contract. Your decision to engage with our services constitutes a legally binding agreement, and you are thereby obligated to comply with all terms and conditions set forth, including but not limited to payment obligations, preparation, and warranty procedures. It is imperative that you review and understand these terms and conditions before proceeding with any service engagement.
